Submission Guidelines
We accept fiction of all genres, essays, creative non-fiction, comic strips & illustrations, poetry, epic poems, humor/satire, photography and generally anything we believe is worth reading. We ask that you try to keep your submissions to 10,000 words or less, but we'd rather have 12,000 really great words than 8,000 not-so-great words. We prefer previously unpublished work.
We do our best to read everything that is submitted to us, so it usually takes us six to eight weeks to respond (sometimes longer). Please limit your submissions to three per month.
Pays 1 contributor's copy upon publication for one-time rights. Rights revert back to author after publication.
Writing Submissions
We require submissions to be sent as attachments. (Word or Text file, please). If you are sending more than one piece, please send each as a separate attachment. The name of the file should reflect the title of the piece. Please include your contact information somewhere in the document you send. Failure to follow these guidelines makes it difficult for us to reply in a timely manner (if at all).
Photography/Art Submissions
If you are sending photos/art via email, please send a low-res version of your work. If we want to see a high-res version, we will contact you.
Send SASE if you would like your submission returned to you.
